We had Slam Nuba, out of Denver, perform at our Take Back the Night rally last spring, and they were phenomenal.

Subject: Beat Poet

Hi All - I am writing to ask if anyone knows of a beat poet who is doing work addressing power-based personal violence (sexual assault, stalking, partner violence, bullying, etc.).  We are working on a project and are looking to collaborate with someone who is committed to the issue and talented.  Thanks so much. J
