The Sacrificial Poets out of NC are incredible.  I've seen them numerous times.  They've done spoken word at a number of fundraising events for marriage equality and also at youth-focused events.  They even tailored their performers for a Youth Health Summit that we held down here and had folks slamming about rape culture, domestic violence, masculinity, etc.  They are just fantastic.  Only thing is I'm not sure how far they travel.

Check them out!!

I brought Adrian Molina to my campus a few years ago.  He was wonderful.

Hi All - I am writing to ask if anyone knows of a beat poet who is doing work addressing power-based personal violence (sexual assault, stalking, partner violence, bullying, etc.).  We are working on a project and are looking to collaborate with someone who is committed to the issue and talented.  Thanks so much. J
