I have worked with accused individuals in the past, and I typically focus on what kind of support they are looking for rather than offering it myself. I have sent them to the counseling center or to other individuals
they trust with a list of topics to cover that we created together. I also explained their rights under the institution's policies and, if they asked, I talked about relevant criminal standards. I reinforced retaliation issues, typically by framing it is them
protecting themselves by not creating the perception of retaliation. I also referred them to websites that could be helpful in providing information. I've had situations where I worked with both parties in a complaint, and I can say, it's very difficult to manage that dynamic. I do not recommend it. I also admit my bias that I am concerned that I could be
prepping a complainant to have the "right" kind of language to defend themselves and/or use time spent with me as an example that they are innocent. If you're operating under state privilege as an advocate you may want to check if that privilege covers conversations
with non-victims. If it doesn't, you should inform an accused person as soon as possible. I currently do not work under license or state privilege, so I state up front that anything they tell me would be documented.

but we do offer advising/coaching. As Brett said, however, these services have nothing to do with Title IX. Best, Dave Dave Kennedy, JD Facebook:

if any of you have any information on “how Universities and / or other colleges are dealing with and providing services to individuals who have been accused of sexual assault/sexual violence on campus. How do these services relate to Title IX and Campus Save
Act. Specifically, what type of support services are any Universities and/ or colleges offering to students, if any. If so please inform me how do they work as well as are survivors and alleged perpetrators services housed in the same office or affiliated
