Her number is 303-315-2736 and her email is . P.S. This is the story about one of our amazing graduates
– and about making dreams come true. Kara was a 29-year old single mother
whose dream was to dedicate her career to ending domestic violence. But
Kara’s career was not moving and she desperately wanted to do more for
her agency and the clients she served. In 2010 Kara entered the Program on
Domestic Violence. Kara now calls that a life changing decision. After
completing the program, Kara was promoted to Director of Development at her
agency and the research she had done as a student on meeting the needs of LGBTQ
survivors was taking on national significance. Kara’s dream to have
an important impact on domestic violence in her community – and the
nation – is coming true. Many thanks, Barb Barbara Paradiso Director, Center on Domestic
