Dear colleagues;
I hope you can appreciate that as an activist academic, my intention is
sometimes to be provocative. I believe things get better with direct
conversations and i strive to be blunt because the slow pace of progress is
intolerable. Even one rape is unacceptable and the problem has only gotten
worse over the decades that we've spent trying to make things better with
polite discussions.
I know my style is harsh but it is meant to make thing better.
I appreciate the other styles of communication on this list even though my
approach is different.
