We included our students in the process of looking at research on bystander programs as well as curricula that already exist, and then we worked with students to develop a program tailored to our school but based
on research and promising practices. Of course we give credit where due, etc. We found the process of including students up front created both a student-centered program as well as early investment from students. We thus recommend a similar approach. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Adjunct Assistant Professor, Health Behavior, Gillings School of Global Public Health Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 919.966.3658 (phone) 919.966.4605 (fax) Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged
