We are looking for information about different appeals processes in university settings involving sexual assault cases in which both the victim and accused are students within the system. 1.
What is the process for appeal? Can both the victim and accused file an appeal? On what grounds must the appeal be filed?
2.
Who hears the appeal? Students, faculty, staff, other, etc? 3.
Is the decision of the appeals board final? Is it subject to review? Is the decision appealable?
4.
What training is provided for the appeals board specifically on sexual assault cases? Thanks for any information that can be sent our way. Casey Malsam Coordinator/Victim Advocate Women and Gender Advocacy Center:
