Hi All,
We worked with Prevention Innovations out of the University of New Hampshire with their Bringing in the Bystander Program - there are a few things that were particularly notable - research based - CDC and DOJ funded curriculum, the training manual is FREE, you can adapt it to fit your campus, you don't have to pay to go through the train-the-trainer sessions AND you can work with their team for additional training if you have the time and funding.

We did do a train-the-trainer session with their staff and 29 folks on our campus, we ran a poster campaign using 3 of their existing images - slightly modified after doing focus groups  with our students, created one new image using our students, and did a campus-wide post survey.

If anyone wants more info about this particular program I'm glad to share more.

Binghamton University has adopted Green Dot [

strides with prevention.  Please note, students are not trained
facilitators, but they can gather buy-in from students, introduce the
staff who are facilitators, tell their own stories as part of the
training, and help get students committed to being good bystanders.

I strongly encourage anyone interested in the program to contact

Keep up the good work!

Hello-

I wanted to tap into the great minds of the listserv to hear
recommendations on peer education models for sexual violence
prevention. We know there is a lot out there, but it would be great to
hear about specific programs or curricula that you’ve seen as
effective and hear a few thoughts on why.

Have a great afternoon!

Thanks,
