Hello SAPC community,

 

My name is Lauren Gibson and I am a newly hired Prevention Specialist at the University of Delaware working on domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking prevention. I am happy to be a part of this list serv.

 

We are currently looking at developing a protocol for Emergency Housing for students who need a temporary place to stay due to an emergency, such as SV,DV or stalking situation. We are interested in hearing from other schools and their emergency housing protocols/procedures. Do you have a set location used for the emergency housing? Are there any costs to the student for utilizing the emergency housing? We'd appreciate any information you have.
