Take Back the Night Foundation Seeking Program Coordinator Mission Statement: “The Take Back the Night Foundation is an international organization with roots stretching back to the 1970’s in our cause to create safe communities and respectful relationships through awareness events and initiatives. Our marches, rallies, education programs, vigils, concerts, imagery, and events unite those around the globe who seek to end sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual abuse and all other forms of sexual violence. TBTN empowers survivors in the healing process and inspires responsibility in all." Program Coordinator Are you passionate about the cause to end sexual violence? Have you worked in the field or studied the issues for several years? Do you possess a strong attention to detail and eye for organization? Do you like juggling multiple projects at once? Do you have strong communication skills? We invite you to apply for our Program Coordinator position. TBTN Foundation’s Program Coordinator is a two year commitment to volunteering for 10 hours per week for at least 48 weeks per year to manage our “email in-box” and coordinate a number of our initiatives and programs. Position Requirements § Coordinate all logistics related to scheduling and planning TBTN Foundation Events § Communicate with those who have questions for our foundation and need help with event planning. § Create PowerPoint presentations and other resources as needed § Run our Annual 10 Points of Light Program for the last Thursday in April each year § Other related tasks as assigned Qualifications § Undergraduate degree required § 3.5 or higher cumulative undergrad GPA § Minimum of two years of professional experience § Experience in customer service or similar role preferred § Exemplary written communication skills § Verbal communication confidence, poise and polish § Excellent PowerPoint skills are a must § Interest in “behind the scenes” contributions § A positive attitude and flexible working styles § This position is a remote, telecommuting position and requires use of your computer, internet and phone Applicants must have at least 10 hours available per week, Monday through Friday. During the months of March and April, we will need at least 15 hours per week for most weeks. Position is a volunteer position.
