As in previous years, feel free to use the “Holidays Shouldn’t Hurt” posters on my website, free of charge.  All the images on the posters are images I got from free online clip-art.

 

The text goes, “Holidays Shouldn’t Hurt,” over a photo of a woman, man, teenager, child or family.  Underneath says “All I want for the holidays is to feel safe in my home.”  (or “we” and “our home.”)  The subtitle reads, “No one has the right to control the life of another human being.  If you’re feeling tense or scared in your home or in your relationship - you are not alone, and help is available.  Call our hotline at xxx.  If you’re using holiday stress as an excuse to control or abuse the people you love, please stop; the holidays shouldn’t hurt.”

 

Posters can be downloaded as Word documents at http://www.voicesofmen.org/holidays-shouldnt-hurt-campaign.html.  The designs are very basic and can certainly be expanded upon – I’d love to see what you all come up with!
