That was the nearly completed Sexual Conduct Policy we are putting into place soon. We have married these together for at least 9 years. We are changing some of our procedures and policies for the coming year. They are part of the Sexual Conduct Policy which is a “policy statement” that is a part of the Code of Student Conduct. We only “raise” to a Policy Statement so that we are very clear it is part of the Code and also to highlight the other information we provide on the sexual violence issue. We wanted to make sure people knew it is just as serious as any other conduct policy, while at the same time giving them as much information on resources and procedures as we can.

Hello All!

I wanted to check in with everyone to see if any of you had a policy where your university combined your Sexual Misconduct Policy and Sexual Harassment Policy. Where you married the two? If so, could you make it available to use as an example? What are the pros and cons to combining both policies? What would you change about it?

 

Also, if anyone knows of any research or model policies that combined sexual misconduct and sexual harassment that would be helpful as well.
