I encourage you to check out this blog post, written by our former SAFER intern, Avanti. It is a really great, comprehensive piece about the importance of explicitly discussing and defining consent in order to be able to define the spectrum of sexual violence and recognize when a violoation of consent (i.e. sexual coercion) has occurred. It also includes many examples of great (and not so great) definitions included in current campus policies.
