A group on our campus is bringing him in April and I’d like any feedback from you all as well. We’re very concerned about him and have declined co-sponsoring him through the Women’s Center.

Subject: Convicted Rapist as Campus Speaker

Dear SAPC members,

Our Athletics department recently invited a speaker to our campus named Adam Ritz. Ritz is a convicted rapist who is now speaking at colleges about alcohol awareness. I am curious to know if any of you have heard him and I’d like to speak to you if you have. As a survivor, I was very uncomfortable with his talk and I had a strong emotional reaction. I am very open to hearing opinions of others who have heard him or even those who have some thoughts about perpetrators as guest lecturers in general.

Thanks so much.
