Thanks for sharing this Chad; I also want to add that the Georgetown Voice has run a number of great articles this year challenging victim blaming and traditional definitions of “prevention” (after a police officer said women just need to lock their doors more). Maybe a good place to point to for folks that are trying to help improve their campus paper’s coverage of sexual assault. I know part of the reason for the strong coverage at Georgetown is that the Georgetown Men Creating Change student group (part of Men Can Stop Rape’s national Men Creating Change program) has a strong relationship with the Voice, and even has some crossover membership.
