A few weeks I posted a query on this listserv (see subject heading). I actually posted the same query on two different listservs. I have collated responses from both below, as well as attached articles I was sent. I apologize to those of you who will get this twice.
Thanks to all of you who responsed.

I am launching a study of our education program, You the Man a 30 minute play helping communities address dating violence. We will do a 3 year study starting this school year of the play, and do follow ups with the students to see if they have taken action either for themselves or others in response to violence.

discussion is currently underway in Ontario http://www.citizenship.gov.on.ca/owd/english/women/svap.shtml on sexual violence prevention efforts and I have been looking at the same thing.
Here are a couple of things I found. I am curious to hear what list members think of these documents.

Measuring prevention is a complicated issue. IT is hard to find ways to actually reduce rates. I recently wote about the recent "Readiness to Change" model adapted for sexual violence prevention which was developed by University of New Hampshire published in Victoria Banyard's January 2010 article Sexual Violence Prevention: The Role of Stages of Change. http://calcasa.org/prevention/social-marketing-to-prevent-sexual-violence-2/ This is an exciting way to conceptualize prevention.
I also have a eLearning unit exploring this issue on PreventConnect based on a web conference http://www.preventconnect.org/display/displayTextItems.cfm?itemID=193§ionID=254 and a web conference on this topic developed for California Rape Crisis Centers http://calcasa.org/prevention/measuring-prevention-report-from-calcasa-web-conference/
