Hi Adriane! UCSB hosted "Kristin's Story" on campus last year. The
partnership that brought Andrea, Kristin's mother to campus, was a great
opportunity to engage many community members including students and staff
from student government, sororities, fraternities, sexual and dating violence
prevention, counseling, and student health. Andrea did a fantastic job
sharing Kristin's story and this was very moving for many in the audience. We
set up tabling ahead of the event, the student volunteers shared a meal, and
several counselors/advocates arranged to be around during and after the event
if anyone wanted to speak with us. We had several hundred students attend and
were very engaged. It also gave us something to build additional outreach and
educations efforts onto. One of students was so moved that she wanted to
organize a similar event this year. We worked together to host a "Sister
Speak Out" panel presentation for the Greek community this past Monday that
went very well.

Good afternoon. Has anyone brought the program "Kristin's Story" (
http://www.kristinsstory.com/) to campus? If so, would you be willing to
share about your experiences?
Thanks!
