Julie - here is our brochure. Feel free to use aspects of it. We decided to
put guidelines on it when we started getting request to include other items
and sometimes depicting graphic violence that we felt we couldn't support
even understanding that victims have every right to be angry. So we added a
section of guidelines. Years ago, we also started getting a lot of backlash
about the swear words etc that were sometimes on the shirts - so we added a
section for viewers to assist their understanding of anger being a part of
the healing process. I'm sending the word document vs the brochure design as
I assume that will be more helpful.

Hi Liz! We have similar concerns here, especially as to how it impacts
survivors' healing processes, privacy, and decision-making. I'm interested in
what other campuses have experienced as well and how these issues have been
addressed, such as through coordinated community response teams or something
else.

I've been asked to review our sexual assault response protocol with a special
focus on how many times the victim has to tell her/his story when reporting
and accessing on-campus services. A walk-through (a student and staff member
went to many of the offices a victim might encounter to find out what their
procedures are) identified almost 30 people the victim would have to tell at
least part of the story to. Of special concern is that a full report of the
incident has to be made to our University Police Department and our Office of
Judicial Affairs.
The police can't share the report with judicial because it might harm the
investigation and prosecution in criminal court. And the judicial report is
not detailed enough for the police.
I'm wondering if any of you have encountered this problem and how you've
addressed it.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hey all!
We have our first painting session on campus tomorrow for the clothseline
project. It is the first time I have done it at NCSU. When I did it at
another school we had a handout to give the painters to help them and also a
set-up/directions sheet for the people there setting up the painting session.
before I recreate all of this, I wondered if anyone has anything like this
that they can share?
Since it's tomorrow (Wed), I need it ASAP.
Thanks so much!!
