The University of Central Florida is one of the largest public universities 
in the nation with fall enrollment anticipated to be over 51,000 students. 
UCF is a large metropolitan University with emphasis on research and 
community partnership. UCF is seeking qualified applicants for the Assistant 
Coordinator, UCF Victim Services Program. 

Assistant Coordinator Position within the UCF Victim Services Program, a 
division of the UCF Police Department. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 
years experience working with diverse college level students, faculty and 
staff, and be able to demonstrate experience in advocacy/support related 
services and prevention awareness outreach education. Must be able to 
demonstrate understanding of prevention and intervention research as 
applicable to the college environment. Must be able to demonstrate leadership 
of student interns/volunteer and peer educator programs. Successful candidate 
will supervise student intern/volunteer program, coordinate outreach events 
and activities, create advertising and marketing materials, serve as a 
liaison with community groups/partners, task forces and coalitions, provide 
as needed support to 24/7 victim advocates. Position requires flexibility 
with schedule. Preference given to candidates who hold a MSW or Masters 
degree in a related area, and who have successful experience working with 
diverse student groups to include GLBTQ, Fraternities/Sororities, and 
Athletics.
