Greetings advocates! Thanks Ben for sending out this email, re: tonight's
20/20 segment.

I am also worried about the element of "victim blaming" based upon the
online coverage thus far (http://abcnews.go.com/2020/story?id=7757324&page=1).
I called 20/20 and conveyed our concern over their depiction of this case
(re, involvement of alcohol, wardrobe, consent, etc.). The 20/20
correspondent assured me that they took this factor into account ... she
said that the piece airing tonight balances the defense team's allegations
with a counter expert who speaks to the "victim blaming factor."  Also, fyi
-  I've encouraged the ABC news team to include contact information for the
National Sexual Assault Hotline over fear that this segment will trigger
difficult memories for their viewers who have been affected by sexual
violence. We'll see how it turns out tonight, and if they end up including
this contact information to help their viewers.

In the meantime, I'd like to echo Ben's request ... please do let ABC news
know how you feel and add a comment to the story.
