Colleagues,

Published reports state that a woman who was gang raped at the
University of the Pacific is being revictimized by their
administration.  In one case, University Spokesperson Richard Rojo is
quoted as saying that "date rape" is not "outright rape" because it
doesn't involve a random attack by someone jumping out of the bushes.

I hope that you will read the attached article.  I also hope that we
can all find the way to respond with individual and/or collective
social activism to send the message to Mr. Rojo and the University of
the Pacific that these statements will not be tolerated.
