Several years ago someone from this listserve I believe sent me their outline
for a life skills course for women and one for men. I couldn't find the copy
for men but did find the one for women. I was dismayed that I couldn't find
the name of the person who sent it because she needs to be credited but it
wasn't on the outline. Perhaps if she is still on this list, she'll
recognize the outline and let us know. I'm so sorry I don't have it. But
here is the outline and although the topics encompass more than
relationships, there is a section on that.

Dear Colleagues,
My Risk Management department has asked me a question with regard to my
liability insurance for the work that I do. I am wondering if anyone can
assist me with the following question they posed to me:
1. Do others doing the same thing you're doing have specific coverage for
their work at their institutions?
My role includes response, education, prevention, training, supervision and
training of an on call team of advocates. I am not in the Health and
Counseling Center and reside in the Division of Student Life. If anyone is in
a similar situation, could you email me any information you have about the
liability coverage your institution provides you and any advocates you may
supervise?
Thanks,
Lisa Ingarfield

Hi All!
I have been asked to assist a committee in my division to create a Life
Skills class for incoming freshman. I have been assigned the section on
healthy relationships (with peers, romantic partners, roommates, faculty, and
alcohol), conflict management, and sexual assault risk reduction (broad
subject matter, I know). I am wondering if anyone has any resources
(articles, texts, chapters, handouts) for this that are good for incoming
college students (especially focusing on healthy relationships). I have been
told that the articles/text need to be academic in nature so that the faculty
will approve them.
Thanks for your help!
Kim
