In response to Jennifer's question about mandatory programs.  At SCSU since
1992, a registration hold is put on any student who does not attend.  They of
course get several notices regarding what they need to do to be in
compliance.  We are now using nformd.net's on-line program so they must
complete this to get the hold removed.  Prior to using the on-line format, we
offered many make-up sessions and also had a backup videotape of the program
and a test so students who had a hold and had missed all the make-up
sessions, had to watch the video and take the test to get their hold removed.
