Often, the best reaction is to contact Amazon.com directly (in addition to the reviews you can leave). Amazon does not typically double-check every product made available. You can quickly make a product available via Amazon. If we all contact them, they may quickly remove it from the site.

The one reaction I would hesitate on taking is releasing a Press Release or contacting the media (an act I often do believe in to raise awareness). Creators of such a shirt would receive MASSIVE publicity for FREE and sell a lot more of these shirts filled with a horrific message. Lets not help them make money on such a despicable shirt. Media coverage greatly increases website traffic for negative news. Right now, this shirt might not even be selling. ALL the reviews I have read on the shirt are negative and letting the person know how horrible the shirt is.

The best result would be getting the shirt taken down (potentially getting this vendor permanently removed from Amazon) and not giving them any publicity which would benefit them.
