Thank you Christina for your inquiry. What things brings up for me is the 
idea that we may want to pull all the info that folks send to you into a 
word or pdf document. That document can be sent to people whenever the 
inquiry comes up. An inquiry like yours comes up every few months and it 
might be helpful to all to have readily accessible info. Nothing polished 
and formal, just a little "how-to."

Good morning all!

I've been on the listserv for a short time due to being fairly new to this
position. My background comes from the community Rape Crisis here in Las
Vegas.  The Women's Center is looking to expand it's services to include
advocacy and peer education. I'm sure most of you have been through
similar experiences. So, I figured why reinvent the wheel when so many of
you have such great programs going on at your universities and could be of
help.  My question for you is: What do you think are the best ways in
starting an interpersonal violence response team on campus? We recently
applied for the OVW campus grant. Through that process we were able to
bring our key partners to the table, but now we need to begin looking at
protocols and policies.  I'm not sure how to begin...

My next question is regarding consent forms and documentation. How is it
done at your university? When I worked for the Rape Crisis Center,  we had
one authorization form that included both law enforcement and SANE along
with us, but I'm not sure what it should look like here.  Lastly regarding
peer education; What do you think are the best ways to recruit students
and how do you retain them.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for  your
