Colleagues,
I'm emailing you to hopefully get some
help on an assignment for my Student Development Theory class.
The assignment is about Intervening and using particular development
theories to address the situation. My groups situation is based on this
scenario:
A fraternity is in trouble because of a reported rape at one of their
parties. Another fraternity on campus is being proactive by asking our
group to present to them. We will be presenting information on rape,
sexual assault, relationship violence, masculinity, and substance abuse.
I wanted to know if you have some helpful information, or examples of
presentations from Men's Summits, from 1 in 4 presentations, etc. that we
can use in this project.
Part of the project would also showing how we would assess cognitive,
attitudinal, or behavioral change. So, does anyone have any type of
assessment or evaluation that can be shared with us to use as a model or
framework?
So far I have information from SAPA's No Zebras (a peer theater group at
Central Michigan), Men Can Stop Rape, The Macho Paradox, plenty of
videos,etc.
Any help would be awesome! Thanks everybody!
