I can't help but respond to Ben and Tony's comments.  I don't believe
Robin Morgan was comparing one type of oppressive comment to another in
order to judge which is worse, merely to say that we no longer accept
racist comments in the public sphere without a well-deserved outcry
directed toward the person making the comment.  That is not true of sexist
comments which are routinely made and against which there is very little
outcry, particularly from men.
