Dear Colleagues,



I am writing to you today to notify you that One in Four, Inc. has reopened
the search for 2008-2009 One in Four RV Tour National Peer Educators.  Each
year we look toward our colleagues for help in identifying candidates for
this position and each year we end up with four amazing National Peer
Educators.  If you could pass along the following information to your
students who may like to continue working in the rape prevention and
education field, we would greatly appreciate your assistance.  Applicants
need not be members of a One in Four Chapter.

*One in Four National Peer Educators*

Reporting to the Executive Director of One in Four, the National Peer
Educators are charged with providing comprehensive rape prevention
educational programming and training to audiences around the nation.  Our
program, "The Men's Program:  How to Help a Sexual Assault Survivor, What
Men Can Do," is considered the most effective rape prevention educational
program ever evaluated according to the research literature, and has been
presented at colleges, high schools, military bases, rape crisis centers,
and conferences around the nation since 1998.  In response to requests from
colleges and university women and administrators, One in Four, Inc. began
offering "The Women's Program" as a program specifically designed for women
in the summer of 2007.  Like "The Men's Program," "The Women's Program" is
grounded in research and helps women develop the skills necessary to help
survivors



Successful applicants will have earned a bachelors degree from an accredited
institution of higher education.  Applicants must be able to present to
college audiences, particularly all-male audiences, as peers.  Preference
will be given to those applicants demonstrating some knowledge in the area
of peer education programming and need not have been members of a One in
Four Chapter
