Juliette and Marilyn, thank you for sharing this concept.  We do have an
update at www.askingfirst.com on how the writer has responded to the e-mails
being sent to him.  We are now looking ahead to the future -- asking for
ideas such as Juliette's.  What ideas do have for the next time this type of
situation happens on a college campus?

Sincerely,
Mike Domitrz

You might have better luck wih journalism classes than the newspaper staff.
They are often looking for speakers in their classes.  It's a great
opportunity to educate current and future journalists about covering
sensitive issues.

Hello-

In trying to find some way that we can use this article to help the work
that we are all doing, I thought there may at least be one thing that we can
try.  If any of you are having trouble getting in with training your campus
newspaper staff about writing articles surrounding issues of IPV, this could
certainly be used to help your sell.

I recently interviewed over 37 colleges and universities surrounding the IPV
services that they provide to their students, and I can only think of one
campus that provided training to their campus newspaper staff.  Maybe we can
all start doing this now....

Please let me (us) know if any of you are successful and how you did it-it
could help the rets of us.

Sorry for any cross-postings,

Juliette
