Hi Anne!
Slippery Rock University has a campus grant from the U.S. DOJ and our
project is set up with an advocate on campus full-time. She is employed
by the community agency and her position is funded 20% by them and 80%
by our grant. She works in an office with me (project coordinator &
university staff) on campus, provides direct services and joins me in
doing educational outreach. I'd be happy to answer any questions you
have about this kind of arrangement. :)
Karla

Hi Everyone,
One of the community programs providing SV services in our state has
developed a relationship with a local University and is planning to
provide services (direct services, prevention education etc) a few hours
a week from space on the campus while remaining a separate entity from
the University. Has anyone used a similar set up and if so, do you have
a protocol or guidelines specifically addressing a campus/community
partnership of this nature that you would be willing to share? Feel
free to contact me directly if you prefer at
.
Thanks so much,
Anne
