I'm from Western Kentucky University and the past 3 years (that I"ve 
been involved with TBTN) we've done what we call "Take Back the Night: 
A Showcase" where we have a variety of expressions including music 
(group or individual) speech, dance, sign language, whatever. We also 
exhibit the clothesline project that we have. It's very visual and 
powerful to those who see it as well as those who participate in it.  
Then at the end of the month we do a "Take Back the Night: Light up 
Lost River" which is the last day of our month, a candlelight vigil 
that we do have an open microphone.  We are actually contemplating 
doing a rally this year to see about the response we get.
