I have been looking forward to the day when I could post this announcement.

which is specializing in nonfiction about sexual assault. 
Although we are still in the formation stages and do not yet have a list of 
publications, there were so many requests for copies of the abridged version 
of "If She is Raped" by Alan McEvoy and Jeff Brookings that we did a small 
preliminary printrun which we are selling at $14.95 for a 5-pak (plus a 
nominal shipping charge.) Anyone who wants copies, please feel welcome to

We are an improbable combination of people and I don't believe that any of us 
ever envisioned ourselves as publishers. While we are excited and proud, none 
of us wants to lose what brought us here. We want to create a for-profit 
retailer that is truly accountable to its marketplace. For example, even on 
this preliminary version of "If She is Raped" we have moved the "Resources" 
section to the back cover so that, without charge, we can substitute the 
local resources you provide to us for the national ones we otherwise list to 
anyone bulk-ordering 200 5-paks.
More importantly, we want feedback from all of you, particularly about what 
you would like to see us publish. Down the road we intend to publish new 
nonfiction as well but, at least at the beginning, we would like to 
prioritize resources you've found valuable that are now out of print. Please
