Ross,
I don't have a direct answer to your question, but wanted to let you know that we're seeing the same thing. We suspect, as well, that perps are getting really creative with the drugs they're using, too. We're not seeing as much of the "ruffied" experience (blacking out completely after a small amount of alcohol and not remembering anything all night). We are, however, seeing some indication of over the counter drug facilitated rapes - cold medicine, sleeping pills, etc. (blacking out after a small amount of drug or alcohol use, but waking up periodically throughout the assault). We're really struggling with how to address this issue, too. We want to warn people without giving perps any ideas. We're mostly using the information when we speak to all female audiences, but that's really making some assumptions about who's perpetrating and who's being victimized.
Anyway, just my two cents on the topic. They're getting creative out there.
