Hello Listserv Colleagues-

Please forgive any cross postings you received but I especially want to
invite campus communities to respond:

The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC), through a grant
awarded by the Office for Victims of Crime, has developed a survey to
understand how Local, State, Territory and Tribal Communities respond to
victims of sexual violence. Our goal is to collect current data that
will help:

-           Assess the development of SART's across the nation.

-           Determine multidisciplinary training needs specific to
SART's

-           Inform the development of a National SART Toolkit

The term "SART" (Sexual Assault Response Team) simply refers to an
intervention model for sexual violence that includes a core group of
disciplines working together, formally or informally. Generally, these
key responders include advocates, law enforcement officers, forensic
examiners (e.g.; SANE/SAFE/FNE), crime lab personnel, and prosecutors.

This survey is voluntary and responses will be confidential. Any
personally identifiable information collected or obtained will only be
used or revealed for research or statistical purposes. Published survey
results will only include aggregate facts.

The survey is electronic and typically takes about 10-15 minutes to
complete. The survey is located online at:

http://www.nsvrc.org/

Deadline is October 21, 2005
