Responding to Susan Marine's comments, I agree philosophically that forced
anal intercourse
(or forced oral intercourse) more appropriately describes the act rather than
the word
"sodomy," however, in the context of the law.... at least in Virginia, in
order to have a PERK
done, it is for penetration sex offenses - rape, sodomy, and forced object
penetration.
