Hello, SAPC friends!
I wanted to forward this info about an Atlanta conference later this summer.
NOMAS, the National Organization for Men Against Sexism (www.nomas.com) is a
cosponsor - I'm an active member of the Boston chapter of NOMAS
(www.nomasboston.com). Most likely, my play "Voices of Men" will be one of
the keynotes and I'm thrilled about that.
I hope you can join us in Atlanta! - Ben

Quote of the month, June 2005 -
"We celebrate fathers who love and respect their partners and work honestly
to maintain equality in their relationships...We celebrate fathers who
challenge prejudice that demeans not just their sons and daughters but
everyone else's, too...We celebrate fathers who advance the idea that peace
and harmony in the home are preconditions for peace and harmony in the world."

Hello everyone,
I know that this question has been asked previously (I think), but as
it didn't pertain to me at the time, I don't think I paid attention (I'm
so narcissistic!). Anyhow, we're looking at evaluating our mandatory
sexual assault education workshop, and I'm wondering how others of you
have done it. The thought in some of the literature is that attitude
measures are not as useful given that they slough off after 3 months.
But if you don't mind sharing, how do you go about evaluating any big
peer-led programs you provide (if you provide them)? Do you have
"smaller" ways of evaluating for year-to-year stuff, but the occasional
BIG evaluation, too? What would either of those consist of for you? What
measures or methods do you use? Why? Any assistance you can provide will
be priceless.
Thanks in advance for your assistance, y'all, and keep on doing the
wonderful and empowering work you do.
In peace,
Ross
