Hello,

 

On Saturday, April 23rd, Men Against Sexual Violence at the University of 
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will be hosting a conference entitled MoMENtum: 
Creating a Movement to End Rape. Men Against Sexual Violence (MASV), a group 
of men and women seeking solutions to sexual violence, will be facilitating 
interactive workshops and discussions designed to help organizers create a 
social movement of men working against rape. This conference is FREE and open 
to everyone who has an interest in stopping this violence. While most of 
MASV's experience is in working with a college population, we hope to create 
a movement that would extend beyond the borders of a college campus.

 

The conference will be held at Illinois Disciples Foundation (IDF), 610 E. 
Springfield Ave., Champaign, Illinois. Registration information, directions 
to the conference and local hotel information can be accessed from the link 
below. If you need (free) overnight accommodations for Friday 4/22 and/or 
Saturday 4/23, a limited number of spaces are also available through MASV.
