Hello, everyone.  

I would like to ask for your help in providing some data for a new project
that RAINN is undertaking focusing on potential perpetrators and bystanders
of sexual assault to complement RAINN¹s ³Get Carded Campaign,² which
primarily focuses on potential victims.  RAINN will launch a campaign later
this year to address the issue of men¹s role in preventing sexual assault on
college campuses.  

If possible, we would like to have the campaign present actual norms for
men¹s attitudes and behavior regarding preventing sexual assault.  In order
to develop a persuasive message we would like to partner with schools that
have already collected data on men¹s attitudes about consent, bystander
behavior, and/or to what extent men feel that sexual assault is a problem.
If there are enough schools that have collected data then it may be possible
to create a message that includes national norms on men and sexual assault.

If your school or organization has done any kind of surveys or other form of
information gathering involving men's attitudes and behaviors regarding rape
and sexual assault, we would really appreciate you letting us use this
information for our campaign.

To accomplish this we are working with Dr. Alan Berkowitz to help develop a
message that college men will respond to.  We are writing in the hope that
you would be willing to contribute your data for relevant survey questions
to further help us develop the right message.

Our hope is to try and compile various studies by May 15th.  If you are
