In reference to law enforcement training, I find it very important to address the profile and behavior pattern of men who assault people they know. Many law enforcement officers are ignorant of who, and how, and thus operate under faulty assumptions base upon myths. I also find it important to discuss survivor trauma so that officers are aware of the reasons for memory problems, lack of evidence of resistance, and delayed reporting.
