CATHARSIS PRODUCTIONS is currently seeking a male presenter/actor to 
serve as a replacement presenter for the nationally touring sexual 
assault awareness program, SEX SIGNALS.   This two-person (one male and 
one female) program blends improv, comedy, and education to address 
issues surrounding dating and date rape on college campuses.  The male 
role calls for a strong, energetic, fun, young adult, 22-35, who is 
quick on his feet and very likeable.  The presenter does not need to be 
a professional actor or speaker, but must possess outstanding 
improvisational, acting, and facilitation/interpersonal skills.  
Background in rape prevention or education programs, gender studies, or 
counseling is a major plus.   Latino and African-American men are 
highly encouraged to submit themselves for consideration.  Currently 
there are three teams that tour the program, but an actor on one team 
will be less available for touring.  Presenter will be 
trained/rehearsed in the summer ready for tour dates beginning in 
August of 2004.
