Topic: sexual assault prevention education office and job description
for full-time staff

Could you please forward job descriptions of full time staff members
employed as sexual assault prevention "officers" for lack of better
terms.  At Boise State we have a response team in place, with trained
full time staff that share a 24 hour duty rotation, among other things.
As the program expands, I am lobbying our university leadership to staff
a full-time person in this position.

If you have a separate office for sexual assault education programs and
response, please let me know where this office is in relation to the org
chart for your school: reports to women's center?  dean?  counseling?

Thanks!

Hi All,

I am curious about what policies other campuses have in place for when a
student is reported for raping someone, admits it in a mediation setting
and is then left on campus.

It seems to me risky to leave a known rapist on campus without warning the
other students, but at the same time i can see legal issues arising from
sanctions when judicial procedures are not pursued.

How do other campuses handle known (admitted) rapists who are not charged
under the criminal justice system or the campus judicial system but are
instead handled at a "mediation" level?

Do your campuses have such mediation responses?
