Greetings,

Janine Cavicchia inquired about Sex Signals. Since I am currently on a sex signals induced high, I thought I'd reply. Gail and Christian visited Harvard Monday and did three amazing back to back performances. They are incredibly high energy, talented, and committed actors and educators and their delivery of important messages about sexual communication, respect for boundaries, and the role of male/female socialization in perpetuating sexual violence is subtle and dead-on relatable to college students. They received three standing ovations from our students-- and that *just doesn't happen* very often at Harvard! students came up to me and the performers after the shows and raved about them. I have seen many, many incarnations of what I call 'traveling rape education roadshows' and I think they do it best.

Having worked with Gail and Christian twice now, and found them both to be exceptionally professional, savvy, and accommodating in every way, I cannot imagine why there might have been problems at any other school-- then again, I am a rape educator, not a student activities director, so I have very different needs and expectations of the show. I have found them and their entire team to be amazingly easy to work with.

To read the student newspaper coverage of the show, go to:
http://www.thecrimson.com/today/article348696.html

to read an article from earlier in the year which more explicitly addresses the *content* of the show, go to:
http://www.hno.harvard.edu/gazette/2003/03.13/13-sexsignals.html

Clearly, I cannot recommend them highly enouh, but if you have additional questions or concerns feel free to call or email me

Thanks!
