Hi All,  One of the most powerful and awesome programs on violence and healing is " A Long Walk Home" which is a multimedia performance by a group including two sisters.  One who created a photo exhibit/video of her sister's healing process from sexual assault.  Salamisha Tillet  was a Penn Undergrad and worked at the PWC and shares her story of recovery from sexual assault. She and her sister is also pursuing graduate studies , so its a good way to provide some extra $$ support to them as they continue their degrees.    They were here at Penn,  tufts, and elsewhere.  It is a very moving and poignant production.  I highly recommend it!  Here's some info:

A Long Walk Home is a multimedia performance that documents the healing process of a trauma victim to survivor. The show uses poetry, modern and African dance, music, photography and oral testimonies to help educate people about violence against women in the African-American community.

In the past, the show also featured a singer , Modern dancer,  African dancer  and spoken-word performer

Subject: Sexual Assault Programming

I'm looking for feedback regarding a program "Sex Signals" which I
believe someone on the listserve recommended last year. I've heard other
very positive things about this program, but also some negative comments
from our student activities coordinator. Our sexual assault prevention
committee is looking for solid programming, and any comments from this
listserve would be GREATLY appreciated! ALSO any recommendations for
alternative speakers/groups to bring in would be welcomed. Thanks,
