Welcome to the
mailing list! Welcome to
the Sexual Assault Program Coordinators List
This list was created for people who work for a college or university,
or a related organization, to conduct sexual assault programming,
coordinate response services, and/or work with students as peer
educators, in order to reduce the prevalence of sexual and dating
violence on campus.
Once you receive this acknowlegement of your subscription, we would
appreciate it if you would send the following information to the list
manager: Full Name Title Institution Name Snail Address Phone Fax Web
address (if you have one)
She will add you to the membership roster and then email you a copy.

While we are part of a larger community of activists, we occasionally
need the space to discuss concerns, programming issues, management,
personnel and funding questions with our colleagues. We welcome the
involvement of volunteers; however, this list is NOT designed as a
place for student activists to discuss their issues. There are
already lists that exist for this purpose, and it would be redundant
to create another one of the same. If anyone who is not a member of
this list would like to pose a question to the members of this list,
you may do so by emailing the list owner at the address above.
If you would like to read old postings, visit
www.sexualassault.virginia.edu, for a link to archived posts from
1999-3/2003. From 4/2/03, posts are archived by the University of
Virginia at the website address above.
Thank you again, and we look forward to future interactions!

Hello there,
Thanks so much to those of you who responded to my previous inquiry =
about educational videos. I have one last question about this- has =
anyone heard of the video "Risky situations, the reality of rape", =
available through Intermedia? I would love to hear your feedback about =
this video if anyone has seen it. =20
I am also working to update our resource list for survivors, both female =
and male. We have some great books listed (e.g., Warshaw's I Never =
Called it Rape), but I wanted to ask if anyone has some suggestions for =
recently published materials in this area (websites are helpful as =
well).=20
Thanks so much for any suggestions you might have, I really appreciate =
it!=20
Linda
