Dr. Lori B. Girshick, sociologist and community activist, is available for
campus presentations, trainings, and conferences on the following issues:
woman-to-woman sexual violence, same-sex domestic and sexual violence,
outreach and alliance building with the LGBT communities,
homophobia/biphobia/transphobia and heterosexism workshops, and working with
abused women in prison. Lori has worked in the domestic and sexual violence
field since 1990, and has written extensively on the issues. She is the
author of Woman-to-Woman Sexual Violence: Does She Call it Rape? (2002,
