Facilities Management Outage Notification

HVAC Outage    

BLDG: 0055 GARRETT HALL

 

Affected Floors / Rooms:  This will impact all portions of the main portion of Garrett Hall, but it will not impact heat in the annex spaces.

Impact to Building Occupants:  No Heating

As part of the Medium Temperature Hot Water conversion project, mechanical work is required in the exterior mechanical room (next to the basement on the west side of the building). This work includes removing a heat exchanger and some piping and replacing it with new valves and new piping.

This outage will impact heat in the original portion of Garrett Hall, but it will not impact heat in the Garrett annex spaces. The construction duration for this work in the exterior mechanical room should last 10 days, but the heating outage is only scheduled for 23 Oct.

Scheduled End Date and Time:	2020-Oct-23 16:00
