Subject: Encore club notification of meetings and other general announcements

Description: Encore is a service organization focused on helping patients in long term care either in-home, or in skilled nursing facilities.  Some work we do includes going to senior living homes to spend time with the residents by playing board games, cards, puzzles, ping-pong, wii, or just simply sitting and chatting with everyone (probably the #1 past-time since most of the time residents do not get many visitors).  We also fund-raise via bake sales outside of libraries/on the Corner to raise money for those who can not afford their nursing home bills or other medical expenses.  Another project that we take on is doing small in-home maintenance fixes such as repainting walls, raking leaves, or repairing cracks in molding for older people who can not take care of it themselves.
