Hello VAA!
This week we will have a lecture and discussion with Ross Cameron, who is a professor in the Philosophy Department. Our meeting will be on Wednesday, February 28th, at 7pm. Note that it's on a Wednesday instead of a Thursday! It will be held in New Cabell 338. Please bring yourself and your friends who may be interested! Afterwards, we can hang out and get Bubble Tea on the Corner!
Here's the blurb for the talk:
Title: Is anything other than agnosticism irrational?
What should we conclude from the fact that there are both clever and well-informed theists as well as clever and well-informed atheists? That both positions are reasonable, or that neither is and only agnosticism is rational? We'll examine the nature of belief and evidence, and try to get to the bottom of this question.
Hope to see you all there!
