Hello blasphemous friends!

This week our very own Charles Teclaw will be be leading a talk/discussion about the Satanic bible! We will be meeting in Room 395 of New Cabell at 7pm. 

An amusingly common response to statements of religious disbelief is "Oh, so you worship the devil." While this is usually false, some nonbelievers do call themselves Satanists. Anton LaVey's version Satanism is less religion than humanist philosophy simultaneously atheistic and spiritual. This week we'll look at several passages from the Satanic Bible and compare their message to that of other sacred texts. 

Also this Friday at 4pm we have another Faith and Science discussion where we will continue talking about The God Delusion. You're welcome to participate even if you haven't read the book! Let me know if you're interested in more details.
