Hello VAA!

Hope your semester if off to a great start! This week, we will be meeting in New Cabell 036 at 7pm to watch some videos and have a discussion about morality and stuff. How can atheists be moral? Would you become a murderer if it was legal?? How can you be trusted??? 

Just kidding, those are NOT the questions we will be discussing (unless you want), cause it's obvious that religion is not required for being moral. However, that doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of open questions, some of which we will look into tomorrow. 

Another announcement, there will be a Faith and Science discussion on Friday at 4pm at the Center for Christian Study, where we will be discussing some excerpts from Richard Dawkin's 'The God Delusion.' I will forward the details in a separate email so look out for that. The Faith and Science discussions are a way for christians and atheists to have a conversations, so hope some of you go and represent.
